Althea Downing-Sherer is a junior in high school from Iowa City, Iowa. She loves creative writing, specifically poetry, and attended the Iowa Young Writers Studio '22. Other than reading for Polyphony and writing, she does ballet, participates in her school's mock trial team, is a part of her state's youth congress, and interns at a local literary center.
