Sarah Fathima Mohammed, daughter of Indian Muslim immigrants, is a poet from the San Francisco Bay Area. She is the 2021-22 National Student Poet of the West, America's highest honor for youth poets, and the 2022-23 Vice Youth Poet Laureate of Santa Clara County. Sarah Fathima feels blessed to serve as a Genre Managing Editor and to have grown with Polyphony for the past four years.
