Aadil Nathani, a native Houstonian and member of the class of 2023 at Langham Creek High School, is a First Reader for Polyphony LIT. With a love for literature, particularly science fiction and fantasy, he is never without his head in a book, and is often found debating over which book in a series was best. His discovery of Polyphony resulted from the search for a community of readers and writers like him and now, as a member of the Polyphony LIT staff, he enjoys the opportunity to read others’ work and help them improve their writing skills. As an avid reader, passionate climate change activist, soccer player, and a lover of math and science, Aadil loves to compete on the Science Olympiad team at his school and tutor his peers in math. He also plays soccer on his school’s Junior Varsity team, truly shining on and off the field. With the best work ethic and determined mindset, he hopes to make a difference not only in the world of space science, but also in the field of climate change. With three other siblings, he never finds himself bored, and when he isn’t researching at a summer camp, studying for AP Calculus, tutoring his peers in math, trying to win district in soccer, spending time with his family, or editing for Polyphony, you can find him in his happy place: around his group of friends enjoying a good laugh.
