Emily Pickering is a high school sophomore from Memphis, Tennessee. Her work has appeared in Rattle, the Eunoia Review, and elsewhere, and has been recognized by the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers. She is an incoming mentee in the Adroit Journal’s Summer Mentorship Program and student at the Iowa Young Writers’ Studio.
