Nicole Tong is a First Reader for Polyphony Lit. She hails from Naperville, a suburb in the Chicagoland area, and attends Naperville North High School as a member of the class of 2020. There, she is a member of the speech team and is president of the Council of Exceptional Children (CEC), a club that organizes social events and activities for students with special needs. She is a fan of all things Naperville North. Her secret aspirations include getting the position of Buster, the school mascot at football games. Since her first picture book at age seven, titled The Bunnies go to Chicago, in which she named herself "Funny Bunny," Nicole has loved to read and write. She stumbled upon Polyphony Lit while surfing the web and has been in love with the magazine ever since. In her free time, and aside from writing, of course, she enjoys daydreaming about unexpected places, traveling to those unexpected places, watching Planet Earth (mainly for Sir David Attenborough's calming British voice), searching for her doppelganger, and playing water polo. Through Voices, she hopes to collaborate with fellow writers, express her ideas, and above all, continue to enjoy writing.
