Jim is an English teacher and Writing Center director at the Latin School of Chicago. Prior to joining Polyphony, Jim was a volunteer tutor at 826CHI where he also designed and co-taught writing workshops. He holds an MFA in literary nonfiction writing from Bennington College, and his work has been published in The Quietus, The Chicago Tribune, Razorcake, and The University of Iowa's Daily Palette.
