Lydia Sidrys is a Genre Editor for Polyphony Lit from Chicago, Illinois. She is a member of the Class of 2020 at Saint Ignatius College Prep, where she plays volleyball, edits for her school's newspaper and literary magazine, is a member of the school's GSTEM and Culinary Club, and participates in Model United Nations and debate. In her, admittedly limited, free time, Lydia enjoys reading (mystery novels are her favorite), photography, baking (especially with friends), and watching her favorite Netflix shows: The Office, Greys Anatomy, and Friends. She also enjoys listening to country music, and is a huge fan of Coldplay and The Killers. Lydia also loves the outdoors: hiking, kayaking, and traveling are some of her favorite activities. Lydia discovered Polyphony about mid-way through her sophomore year, and she has enjoyed editing for Polyphony since then. Editing for Polyphony has changed the way Lydia approaches reading and writing, as she is more detail oriented and aware of the author's choices in their work.
