Mel is a poet and overall literature lover. She was runner-up in the 2024 New York Times' Coming Of Age Contest and was winner of Polyphony Lit's 2025 Pride Month Contest. She has also been published in UCC's Book of Love. She loves working with and meeting fellow writers.
