Oluwatamilore, or Tami, is a high school senior from Texas whose passion for reading and writing has always driven her. She enjoys reading and writing short stories and spoken word poetry, and performing her works for her family and peers. Her work has been recognized by the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, and she is a 2026 Adroit Journal Summer Program Poetry Mentee, an international writing mentorship program with an 8% acceptance rate. In her free time, Tami also loves public speaking, and is heavily involved in speech and debate. Additionally, she plays the viola in orchestra, and loves to learn new languages and bake!
