Nikita Fishman is a freshman at Lighthouse Connections Academy and has been writing since she was 10 years old. She is an alumna of the Iowa Young Writers’ Studio, a published author, and a recipient of both Gold and Silver Keys from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. When she isn’t creating poems or memoirs, she enjoys skiing, photography, and interior designing. She likes taking her camera outside to capture pieces of everyday life and writing about the little things that bring her joy.
