Mariana Zepeda is a high school Junior from Connecticut who completed the Polyphony Lit Summer Editing Apprenticeship, and is a member of the online Young Writers Project. Her favorite writing genres include op-eds, poetry, and creative non-fiction. Journaling and reading articles (specifically guest essays!) on the New York Times are some of her favorite writing-based outlets. Outside of writing, she loves dancing her heart out in all styles, playing the flute, capturing photos and editing them on Adobe Lightroom, and enjoying time with her friends.
