Ready to turn your creativity into impact?

We’re forming the inaugural Polyphony Lit Poetry-on-Demand Team—a crew of writers united by the power of poetry and purpose. This is your invitation to apply to be on our team. Our mission is to raise awareness and funds for Polyphony Lit while showcasing the brilliance of our community.

 

Pilot Plan:

We will pilot a virtual Poetry-on-Demand Marathon on August 2nd & 3rd, where patrons receive custom poems written live by our team. As a poet on this team, you’ll bring requests to life in verse—fun, thoughtful, moving, unexpected. Your words will make an impact, as the funds we raise will help Polyphony Lit keep submissions free. 

 

Eligibility:

• Current or alum Polyphony Lit apprentices, editors, or submitters

• Can participate in our inaugural virtual event on Aug 2-3.

 

Team Commitment:

• Write at least 4 poems during the event

• Spend 1+ hour collaborating with teammates (think: poetic jam session)

• Optional roles also available in marketing, art/design, or event operations

Applications are open now through Saturday, July 19 2025. We’ll notify selected team members by Saturday, July 26 2025.
