Shayl Khatod is a rising high school sophomore from Santa Monica, California. His work has been recognized by the National and Southland Council of Teachers of English, and California Association of Teachers of English. He also serves as an editor on the SunLit literary magazine at his school. When not writing/editing, Shayl can be found in the practice room with his violin or out on a run. He is excited to be a part of the Polyphony Lit editorial staff as a senior editor, and serve on the junior board.
