Elaine Peng is a writer and poet from the Bay Area, California. She attends Dougherty Valley High School, and when she's not watching Studio Ghibli movies or reading Jane Austen books, she's analyzing literary texts, a hobby she picked up under the mentorship of Dr. Mueck at the University of Maryland. In addition to literature, she's highly passionate about visual arts as a published artist and receiving the High Merit Award at Celebrating Art, as well as being recognized by the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
