Holly Mason

Holly Mason fell in love with writing when taking poetry and creative writing classes at UNC-Greensboro. She joined the college literary magazine there and also fell in love with the editorial process. She then continued her pursuit of poetry and developing her craft as an MFA Poet at George Mason University. She taught undergraduate composition, literature, and introduction to creative writing at GMU. She taught creative writing for three years at Robinson High School in Fairfax, VA, and also has experience teaching elementary and middle school English and Creative Writing classes. She was the faculty mentor for the middle & elementary school literary magazine at Nysmith School in Herndon, VA. Following her editorial passion, she continued to serve as editorial staff of literary journals at GMU, including an intersectional feminist journal, and is now on the editorial staff of Poetry Daily.
